Greyhound Australia User Reviews
Greyhound Australia receives praise for its punctuality and efficient customer service, with users appreciating the friendly staff. However, some reviews mention concerns about seat comfort and cleanliness due to leftover food smells in seat pockets. Despite these issues, many travelers report having a good journey overall.
This was the first time we travelled via Greyhound and had an excellent experience. The coach was clean and comfortable for long distance travel. The driver was friendly explained the ground-rules very clearly. We will recommend Greyhound to family and friends and will definitely use the service again.

The bus was not clean and smelt of food left in seat pockets. However, on time and good journey.

Very easy to organise and was a very comfortable trip

Seats should be filled one at a time unless the booking is for 2 people. I was placed next to a very large individual which reduced comfort, but there was two empty seats together on the bus. A man jumped into it even though it clearly said it was not permitted to seat swap. The passenger I was next to was lovely, but we both would have been more comfortable if we were not squished together!

I was dismayed that Greyhound did not advise me they were running one hour late on 14th June for my trip to Sydney from Port Macquarie. I arrived at the pick up point at 12.15 am for a 12.45 am pick up. I therefore waited 1.5 hours and the coach still hadn’t arrived. It was very cold and I had to wait outdoors in the cold for 1.5 hours. A coach from a firm in Port Macquarie arrived at the coach depot at 1.45 am and I paid $30.00 to travel with them. When we stopped in Buladelah , the Greyhound coach arrived seven minutes after us. Very disappointed. Bruce McLaren
