Greyhound South Africa User Reviews
Greyhound South Africa receives praise for its punctuality and calm travel experience, with some customers noting the cleanliness of facilities. However, several reviews mention issues such as non-functional charging ports, unpleasant odors in restrooms and buses, limited communication during delays or incidents, insufficient stops for passenger needs, and occasional discomfort due to heat inside the bus.
I recently had the pleasure of traveling with Citiliner Bus Company and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The bus was impeccably clean, the seats were comfortable and the toilets were spotless. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail and customer comfort displayed by the driver. When the temperature dropped, the driver promptly adjusted the AC to ensure everyone stayed warm. This small gesture made a big difference, especially since I hadn't brought any blankets with me. Another aspect that truly impressed me was the driver's commitment to passenger safety and well-being. At each petrol station stop, the driver made sure that every single person was back on the bus before departing. This level of thoroughness and care for passengers' safety is commendable and something I have rarely seen with other bus companies. I highly recommend traveling with Citi Liner Bus Company for a hassle-free and enjoyable journey.

They left a passenger at a bus stop simple because they were not sure if it's their bus it didn't Even stop a sec it drove passed the passenger was shouting for the bus to stop we all heard him calling. Remember we booked a citiliner bus but we were taken by greyhound so it was bound for the passenger to doubt the bus first. I really hated that behavior, I don't know if it's because he was a man because they waited at the station in mtata for some men 3 ladies requested that he should be waited for and was given direction passed time for departure.

The worst experience ever, the bus broke down just before Montrose and we had to sleep in the cold with no food or water. Terrible experience to say the least!
