Renfe User Reviews
Renfe receives praise for its punctuality, cleanliness, and comfortable seating. Many users appreciate the efficient online ticketing process and friendly staff. However, some travelers have noted occasional delays affecting connections with other transport modes. Additionally, there was confusion regarding the necessity of printed tickets versus electronic ones for boarding.
Strict security before boarding was appreciated with all bags being scanned as if boarding a plane. Train left on time, despite the high level of security and number of passengers. Not sure why I got an email the day before travelling saying I had to print off the tickets as phone versions would not be allowed. Most passengers were using electronic tickets and were not stopped from boarding. Very annoying!

Terrible. Was sent the wrong ticket!!! . The ticket I had was for a train going to Almeria and not stopping in Jaen! I had to buy a new ticket for £35 leaving an hour later!!

Terrible. The train didn’t turn up so I had to take a taxi so I didn’t miss my flight. Very stressful - not worth it !!
Jack F.
Comfortable and on time but busy - not enough room for large pieces of luggage.
