Rider Express User Reviews
Rider Express receives praise for its punctuality and friendly drivers, with some passengers appreciating the spacious seats. However, several reviews mention challenges such as difficulty locating boarding points, cleanliness issues on buses, and inadequate communication regarding delays. Additionally, concerns were raised about safety checks and maintenance problems like broken toilet doors or rattling windows during trips.
Hi. It was a very good experience. I have only had about 4 Trips that haven’t been a good experience in all of the time I have used your service between Kamloops and Revelstoke and returning. My last trip I went on Sunday June 8. Came home on Monday and back on Tuesday And now back to Kamloops on June 15. There had been a power outage at my house and came home to check my house. All great trips. Except my one on Monday started with your company trying to contact me to be at the pick up location early and I was very busy and felt bad when I got the message. I was still early but a little later than he wanted to Leave. Thank You for Wonderful Service.

The ride from Edmonton to Saskatoon was smooth overall, with a clean bus and a good driver. However, my experience upon arrival was disappointing. My ticket was booked and paid for a stop south of Saskatoon, but instead, we were asked to disembark at the downtown stop. When I inquired, the staff member on duty offered me a “favor” by suggesting I take a ride to Regina instead, so they can drop me on their way, which made no sense. It was frustrating to wait in the cold with my two children for an Uber to pick us up. Reboarding another bus just to get to my original stop wasn’t a feasible option. To add to the inconvenience, the bus arrived at the downtown stop about 45 minutes later than the scheduled time. While the journey itself was pleasant, this aspect of the service left much to be desired.

I travel from Calgary to Kamloops or the other way every few months, usually we have at least 2-3 15 minute stops. This time only had 1 15minute stop. Its nice to have at least 2 to use restrooms etc. Also driver didn’t communicate any itinerary, bus guidelines, really no communication from her the whole trip.

The driver was fantastic! He was very polite and professional. I would travel with Rider Express again.
